Our network is down and we auto connected to a hotspot. Can our bank acct be hacked?
Ah okay, @mountainlight8.
If Xfinity is less secure, then there is a risk of someone getting into the bank account through the connection. An option would be to check with them for any added security they could provide through their service.
I would consider the 2 Step Verification, so it is added security on our end.

Great question! Are you limiting who can connect to your hotspot. If so, that is a greater defense to have with your account (just like a wifi connection).
In my experience, the hotspot provides the same amount of security as a mobile hotspot.
If you're worried about security, you can always add the 2 Step Verification onto your account.
It’s a mobile hotspot. Our network disappeared and we automatically connected to it. It’s xfinity wifi which I think is less secure than XFINITY. My question is, could somebody get in and hack the bank account?

Thank you, Kassi! We will activate the two-step verification as we work to resolve this internet issue.
You're welcome, @mountainlight8!
