Remove Rows from Custom reports

I own a brewery and each style of beer is sold in Variations such as cans, kegs glasses etc. I would like to create a custom report showing sales of specific Variations. I would need to remove a Row(s) in a Custom Report for those Variations ( Cans ) I don't need to see. I don't see how to do that, is it possible?

Hey there @Cliffsidebrew,

We don't quite have a report feature like that, can I get more insight into the need for this particular report? I might be able to offer a workaround if I can get some more details.

When I run a report for a particular Category there are many times I only want to see data on certain Variations of the Items in that Category. As I said my business makes and sells beer and we divide sales of our beers into Variations such as Glasses, Cans and Growlers. Very often I need to see a report of only Cans, which is a Variation of a certain beer style. Here is an example:

Item

IPA

Variations

Large Glass

Small Glass

Can

Growler

Right now I have to work through every beer name (we have many) and write down the number of sales each Variation and then add it up manually.

Gotcha! We don't have a report that will just show the specific variations. You can use the Item Sales Report and filter by the specific item and it will show the variations under that. But this would be a feature request and I would suggest submitting one on our Ideate Board. To learn more about how feature requests work, please see this post (squ.re/Ideate-Commuity) from one of our Seller Community Moderators. Please let me know if you need anything else @Cliffsidebrew
