Wonder if anyone can answer this, I have added 140 new items to our till system today, now i'm at home I want to add them to our website, so I have uploaded the lot, now I need to put each item into the correct category, but how do I see which items are yet to be entered in to any category?
Seem there must be away to list items that have not yet been entered in to any category, but I can not see it.

There isn't currently a direct way to filter your Item Library by 'uncategorized'.
However, if you navigate to the Items section of your online Dashboard the Category column will be blank if there's no category assigned to it.
But as you have quite a few items, you can Export your item library to a spreadsheet, assign categories to as many items in the 'Category' column of that spreadsheet, and then Import the file to your Dashboard. Importing the file will upload your changes to your library automatically.

Thanks for the reply, still seems a bit long way round, is there any way of just deleting all products on the website, and then uploading all categories and items from the retail app?
All the products for the online and till system are the same, at this moment I am doing the job twice when really I just want the online shop to be an exact copy of the till system?
Seems a basic function to me??
The categories can't be imported from the Retail app, unfortunately, @CampingMan.
When you first set up Square Online in your Square account, item information will sync between your Square Item Library and Square Online. After the initial setup, syncing will continue automatically in the background with some exceptions - such as Categories which only sync the first time.
yes none of my items sync automatically.
Seems like are really simple option to have - "do you want to copy your Retail items to you online system"
I'm sure lots of shops like me would be selling what the have in store online.
We are having the same issues. Did you find a way to make this work?
