Problems with Square Sync and Online Ordering

Hi, 

 

We keep running into a problem with online ordering and square sync. If we're running out of an item, we toggle off the "online checkout" for that particular item so customers can't order it. But when we have that item back in stock, and toggle "online checkout" on, the sync is not working and still shows the item as hidden. This only happens with items that are already in the system. I've already checked our system settings and square sync is set so that when items are added in square, they automatically appear visible in online ordering. This works for new items added to the system only, but I believe it should work for all items and that's where the problem is occurring. 

 

This is creating a huge headache as I keep discovering items that have been turned back on for online ordering but are hidden to the customer. Can you please make this update to the system?

Do you have the item statuses turned on your Online Store? This would deter those customers from purchasing when your stock gets low. It will save a little effort on your end from turning the Online options on and off for those items.  Let me know if you're looking for something different.

Yes we use that. Fixing the glitch in the system would be more helpful.

Whenever you make those changes to the item availability, do you re-plublish your site? This would ensure your customers are getting the most recent version.
