It looks like your domain was pointed to Weebly using an older method, which is preventing us from renewing the SSL certificate. To fix this, youโ€™ll need to update your DNS records as follows:

A
@
199.34.228.65
CNAME
www
stemwork.com.hk
TXT
@
06847090-1420-11f0-b32f-6132ceffca2b

Once these updates are made, your domain will automatically be verified in your Weebly account. After that, youโ€™ll just need to manually republish your site, re-enable the SSL, and allow up to 24 hours for the changes to fully propagate.

Let me know if you run into any trouble along the way @stemworkhk2017  ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks for this reply. I had the same problem and changed the A & CNAME records, and the website worked again. Do I need a different TXT point-to address for my own SSL to switch on in Weebly?

Website is www.capernaumbaptist.com

I bought the domain from Weebly, but it isn't automatically giving me SSL. I can get to it when I don't type http:// or https:// before the address.

When I click the "Enable SSL" button in the Editor Settings tab, it tells me to point my A and www records to 199.34.228.78, but that hasn't worked yet for me.

UPDATE: SSL enabled this morning without the TXT file. I think Weebly's cache refreshes every day around 7:30 Central, since that's when I can find the updates from the prior day's work.

However, now I can't get to the website's address with or without an http prefix. Maybe I need to wait again, but goodness this is getting old.

Good Morning @CSchaffer! To confirm, has this been resolved?

The SSL enabled in my settings, but now the website is unreachable. I'm guessing it's because the now-turned-on SSL needs time to propagate. I'll try again in a little while, and if it's not on by this time tomorrow I'll know I messed something else up lol

Oh no! Keep me updated. Just a heads up, I am off on Fridays, so if you reach out here tomorrow, I will not see it until next week. In the meantime, I recommend contacting our Online Support team at 855 700 6000, Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM Pacific Time.

I reached out to support, and they changed my DNS records. The SSL will now enable without hesitationโ€”but my website is still unreachable!

What do I do?
