Print packing slip from POS?

We have square registers in store and square online. I’ve seen that there’s an option to print a packing slip from the POS register, I was HOPING it could print on the receipt paper but it says printer not installed.

What type of printer can I use with square register just to print packing slips? It would be so convenient for the employees to be able to print at the register and package up orders without me doing it on my computer.

Our Square Registers are only compatible with our receipt and kitchen printers. You can learn more about hardware compatibility with the device.

In order to print packing slip from the Square for Retail App, you will need a Desktop Printer. Feel free to also share your suggestions in our Ideate Room here: squ.re/ideate - Our Product Team keeps an eye on this forum as they are constantly improving our products based on feedback like this.
