Welcome back to the Community, @Short_Stash -

When it comes to off-setting the processing fee for card payments, Square doesn't have a formal setting for this. Other sellers will use service charges to balance out some operational costs. I would recommend checking with a legal or tax professional in your country, just in case.

I know it's not ideal, but I can suggest dropping this on our Ideate board as a Feature Request.

so ya i can add 4% for the card fess under taxes works for the in person but not online but depending where you look you get different answers for 3 levels of service like one spot will say 2.8%+ 0.30 and other will say +0.10 so how am I going to charge for that and then kindly display it so the person paying understands it that they are paying and what they are paying for.. under policies i say its not refundable as coverage

so the math i am looking at adds up like this and it hurts my head

[in person]

-cash 1.00+ 13% sales tax ..= 1.13

-card 1.00+ 4%+13%= 1.17

[online]

1.00+ ? + ? taxes =0.23 +36 flat shipping = 37.00 ... its like how the hell so how i get 5.73 in taxes divided in some weird math
