Possible fraudulent charge, how to verify?

Received an online payment for product but the billing and shipping are many states apart.  In the past these usually end up being fraud.  Is there a way to verify the purchase before sending any products?  Hate to just cancel an order if its legit.

Hey @subysti.  I can’t think of any way to do this after the transaction is completed, other than to either call the customer to verify.  Other than that, for future online transactions, you might be able to utilize Square Risk Manager, and some rules involving 3D Secure authentication.  But you’d need to review the help documentation and decide how, and if, this would work for you.  Here’s a link to the Risk Manager setup document.
