Pickup Time Broken on iOS Mobile (Maybe All Mobile)

If we allow scheduled pickups, when checking out on mobile, there is an issue on the "Change Fulfillment" page.

 

If I change pickup to "Later", I get a dropdown to select the day. However, for the time we now get a custom time enter popup, rather than the dropdown that we get on desktop:

The problem is, if the user does not enter a time that would be in that dropdown (based on prep time, maximum # of orders, etc), then the time does not save when you click the "Done" button and return to the cart screen. It is still set to the time it was last at.

 

There is no error messages so the user has to notice that the time didn't change, and try to edit it again. However, they still don't know what the valid times are so it gets really difficult to schedule a pickup. This is a major issue because people are scheduling for the wrong time without realizing and we're wasting food and comping customers. It should go back to a dropdown like before.

 

Also worth noting, on desktop, you can still type in your own time with the dropdown open, and again if you don't type a time that is listed in the dropdown, it does not save.

 

Also, please please please bring the new mobile ordering experience that you just launched for "Self-Service" ordering to all orders. I don't understand why it only works when you use the QR code but not when ordering directly from the site for pickup/delivery. Seems silly to have two different user interfaces depending on how the user decided to order that day.

Hi @waggydags! I'm really sorry to hear the frustration regarding your pickup times. I would want this fixed too. This is actually a known issue that our engineering team is actively working on. I will monitor the case to see when it gets resolved.
