Photos won't go away & new items won't show

Good morning everyone,

I'm about to get insane. I've removed an image from every place that it was showing, it is STILL showing up online.

I added new products to my site, they won't show up and neither with the changes I've made to descriptions.

I've searched the forums and it was suggested to unpublish and republish, nothing changed.  Help!

Whewโ€”sounds like you're going through website ghosting at its finest. That image you deleted? It clearly didnโ€™t get the memo that itโ€™s no longer welcome. It's like that one ex who keeps popping up at the worst time. ๐Ÿ˜…

And new products + updated descriptions refusing to show up? Thatโ€™s beyond frustratingโ€”especially when you know you've done everything right. Been there, done that, screamed into the void.

Here are a few things to double-check (just in case this gremlin is hiding in the details):

  1. Clear your browser cache โ€“ Sometimes your site is updated, but your browser is clinging to the old version like its life depends on it. Try viewing it in an incognito/private window too.
  2. Check your Item Visibility Settings โ€“ Make sure the new products are actually set to show online and assigned to the correct location and category.
  3. Try syncing your items again โ€“ Go to your Square Online dashboard > โ€œSite Itemsโ€ and click โ€œSync Itemsโ€ if that option shows.
  4. Double check your site design page โ€“ Sometimes items are live but the section on your homepage/shop page isn't auto-updating to include new ones.

If you've already unpublished/republished and nothingโ€™s changing, it could be a syncing delay or a backend caching issue on Squareโ€™s side. At that point, reaching out to Square Support directly might be your best betโ€”they can usually dig into the hidden stuff we canโ€™t see.

You're not losing itโ€”just caught in a weird loop of website dรฉjร  vu. You're doing all the right things, and weโ€™re all cheering you on while this site gets itself together. ๐Ÿ’ช

I'll try the syncing thing. I forgot to mention that I had already cleared my internet files and cache.

Hey @hlhalliburton jumping in for @JJ_,

What item image is still showing after being deleted? Can you share a link to your site?
