I just wanted to let people know that I received an email that claimed to be from Square stating that I had received a very poor rating from a customer and that I should reach out to them to try to resolve the issue. The email had a date, a transaction amount, and links that it asked me to click. I’m pretty suspicious of this kind of thing so I checked my transactions for that date on my phone app and there was no matching amount. Next, I signed in to my Square account online and there were no complaints whatsoever. We all want to give great service, so it would be easy to get caught in this trap. Just a heads-up about the scammers, friends.
