Password Protect just store pages

Hello,

I have been setting up my square online store and been trying to work out how to just password protect just the store pages of my site. I know I can password protect the entire site but I'm just trying to do the store only. Basically I want I'm trying to achieve is being able to give out the password (via SMS, email, verbally etc) so my clients can place their follow up orders online. So I still want my home, contact us page etc to be publicly assessable.

Hey KungFury,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community 👋

You should be able to hide either the entire site or specific pages behind password protection. Check out our guide on password protected pages and let me know if you have any questions!

Hello, I did try this guide but I wasn't able to hide any of the store pages using this method.

Hey @KungFury,

Sorry to hear this didn't work! Was there a particular step in the process that you got stuck on or didn't work for you?

It could also be a good idea to get in touch with support, who will be able to take a better look into your account set up. You can call support on 1800 760 137 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Melbourne time), or contact us via online chat or email:

1. Sign in to your Square account

2. Head to our contact page https://squareup.com/help/au/en/contact

3. Go to "Other"" then "I don't see my issue"

4. Click "Message us" or "Email us"

Hi, I am also looking for the answer to this question. You can password protect standard pages, but not category pages. Please Help!

Category pages can't be password protected from my testing at the moment, @StonyRidge - I understand your frustration! It would be great if you could just create a "hidden items" category and proceed to password-protect that category page. I'll be passing this feedback onto our eComm team for consideration. In the meantime, you can use the guide to add these items to a standard page and add password protection from there.
