We have recently been having a lot of issues with Square Online. We turn our system off using the Checkout toggle button to prevent receiving orders when we are closed. When we turn it back on, it does not seem to respond, preventing customers from being able to order online. Is anyone else having these issues? Square online isn't really made for food service and the limitations are hurting our business. Does anyone have any recommendations or alternate services?

Really sorry you're experiencing this I can definitely see how that'd be frustrating.
The only time I've ever heard of this issue occurring is on older running systems or devices.
If your computer you're using to update these settings is behind on updates or just not able to update to the latest version of it's software because it's an older model this can definitely cause these issues.
We've talked to someone on the Weebly side who told us that the system is not intended to be turned on/off daily. When this occurs, there can be a delay in the system responding. Unfortunately, it worked very well for the first few months, but recently, it stopped responding. I wish the online store was adapted more for restaurant/cafe use as well. Our issue is, customers overlook their pick-up order time and place orders when we are closed. So turning the system off was the best solution for us.
