Online Store not Accepting Addresses to multiple customers?

Hello. Multiple customers reach out to me saying their address won't work and cannot buy from my online store. It might be due to the wrong shipping assignments, I just don't know what to change without risking more complications. What can I do to my shipping profiles (i have multiple) to fix this? I still want to ship to any address (including international).

Hi @Itsdoco!

It’s a bit tricky to pinpoint the issue just from the screenshot alone, but I can definitely offer some general guidance.

Where complications often arise is when specific items are assigned to specific shipping profiles. If a customer tries to check out with items from multiple profiles that don’t support their shipping address collectively, it can lead to errors.

Another common issue we see is when different profiles use inconsistent rate types, for example:

  • One profile uses item-level rates
  • Another uses weight-based rates
  • Another uses order total-based rates

Mixing rate types across profiles can create conflicts. As a best practice, try to use one consistent rate structure across all profiles wherever possible.

Could you share a bit more about how each of your profiles is currently set up? That will help us narrow this down. 😊

In the meantime, I recommend reviewing our Shipping Profiles guide to double-check your current configuration and setup steps.
