On my website I have a page setup that uses the "Featured Items" options so I can sell selected items from my website for delivery
I also have the Category Pages with the built in Order Online setup so that when I am serving from my mobile bar customers can scan the QR code to see my FULL menu and order from it Immediately
Although these are 2 separate "pages" on the website both are hidden so that you can only access the mobile ordering through the QR Code when you are physically at my bar, and you can only access my online shop for delivery by clicking the page navigation button for the store (takes you to the pages setup with the "Featured Items")
The issue I have is that when you are buying from the pages with the featured items they are the select items that I only deliver and not the full menu that is available when you actually at the bar. however when adding an item to the basket from a "Featured Item" you then get a page link appear that says Order Online > "Current Item Selected". when you click add to basket the product page should really close and take you back to the featured items page you were just on, however it doesnt so you can get back to that page now, and the instinctive thing to do is to click on the "Order Online" link which DOESNT take you back to the Featured Item page but to the main online store where ALL my products are available to sell which I don't deliver
It shouldn't do this, the site is mixing then two different order pages, and instead of having the Online Order link appear the product page should close once added to basket and take you back to the featured item page you were.
This is a big flaw and is causing massive issues allowing my customers to purchase products online that they shouldn't even have access to for me to then have to cancel their orders
How quickly can you fix this issue? Featured Item pages should not link to in anyway or give access to the main store page where I don't sell other items online for delivery
I need to separate order menus, one for mobile purchases of the whole menu whilst physically and the bar and a second just for the selected items I also sell and deliver locally
Its a shame you cant setup 2 online order pages under the "Category Pages" section setting from the online store setup
