Online Return Update Stock Level

I read "Track Your Inventory" article and under online store it states:

 

If an order is refunded, your stock count will not automatically increase for returned items. You can manually adjust your stock count to reflect the returned item.

 

Is this true and still the case? If so, it seems that this is a feature that is a must have. Online sales are large and for every cancelled or returned item, we would have to adjust this manually?

Yes, at this time if an online order is refunded, your stock count will not automatically increase for returned items. You can manually adjust your stock count to reflect the returned item.

 

We're working on making this an automatic restock process in the future. Thanks for your patience, and for surfacing this limitation.
