Online Ordering

HI I am in need of a little help please!!

I have just set up our online ordering for our food truck, I have a few questions, as we are new to all this,

Do I add the QR code to all my advertising so customers scan and are directed to our site?

Am I able to test the site out for payment etc to see it works?

If I set our open times in the location and time section will it automatically cup off at the time I set to close, or do I have to manually do it?

Thanks in advance

Hey @Hells71,

Thanks for writing in! These are all great questions 😊

Adding a QR code to your advertising is a great idea! I've seen a few businesses add QR codes to flyers and posters, as customers are used to scanning codes and it takes out the hassle of having to type in your web address, or googling your business. For online advertising, you can usually just include a link to your website.

We recommend testing out a payment on your site by creating a test item for $1 (this is the minimum amount to be charged on card) and going through the checkout flow like a customer would. You can then issue a refund for the order by following these steps as well.

Your opening times, and order preparation times determine when the last order can be placed. For example: An item on your menu has a preparation time of an hour, and a customer tries to order it 10 minutes before close - they wouldn't be able to place that order.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, we're happy to help 👍
