We have used online ordering since June 2020 and in the recent months we have had several instances where our modifiers get moved around and default items changed. This requires us, each time, to go through EVERY item and rearrange the modifiers and change the defaults. More times than not, we also have to call Support because the sync between our Items on the dashboard is not working to our online items. Something must be done to prevent our modifiers from randomly changing! This has caused many hours of work and repeated frustration to our customers who use our online ordering. Please help get this word back to the developers.

Double-check that modifier settings are updated in both the Square Dashboard and Square Online editor.
After making updates, manually trigger a resync by unpublishing and republishing your Square Online site.
Use the "Sync with Item Library" option in your Square Online dashboard under Items > Site Items.
Clear your browser cache or try managing your items in a different browser to rule out front-end issues.

@Summer2024 We have had the exact same issue. The modifiers for all of our items keep resetting overnight. It happens 1-2 times a month.
We initially thought it was a human error but I can confirm the items are changed automatically without us making any changes on the platform. We also noticed the modifiers for our items in the Square Dashboard are same from what we have on our online orders website and the only way we've found to customize modifiers from an item is from the Square API.
All of this is extremely frustrating as we have to put them back manually everytime! Square, could you please provide a fix for this?
