On my Square up, how do I find out who made a payment? I need to know who sent me money.

Hello! Whenever a customer of mine goes on my website and pays for one of my programs, it comes through Square and I get the money and I get an email but I cannot find the customer name so I have no idea who’s sending me the money. Can you help me with this please? I need to know who is sending me the money so I can mark them paid in full. Thank you!

When your customer pays online the system will definitely keep track of their name for the transaction.

The quickest way to find your customer's name is to use the Transactions screen on your web dashboard. Find the correct payment and click on it. A new box will pop up on the right side of your screen with all the transaction information. Right below the dollar paid line, you'll see a Paid By: line. That name is the name of your customer who completed the purchase.

Hey @TZDD, thanks for joining! You can view customer information in your orders tab on the Dashboard or in the app. From there, it will show the customer's name and information. If you added your customer to the sale, it will show in transactions as @ryanwanner stated. I hope this helps! If you need anything else, please let me know!
