Hello. I have enabled order alerts in the square app to notify me whenever I receive a new order from the online store, however I never receive any notifications through the app when a new order comes in. I get the email notifications, but an actual alert from the app on the phone would be incredibly useful. Any idea how to fix this issue?
So, you were getting the alerts previously? Our clients sometimes stop getting the alerts on their POS equipment from our Apps and we've found that typically if you log out, hard close the app, then log back in that sometimes fixes it.
Or if you simply delete the Square POS Apps (if that's what you're using) then re-install it and log in again, that sometimes works too.
Thanks for your reply. I never received any alerts after enabling alerts on the Square POS app on my android phone. I just deleted the app and reinstalled. I'll wait until the next order arrives to see if I receive any alerts.
Just got an order and unfortunately still no alerts from the app on my phone.

All our online orders are not showing up on the square app on the tablet. It only shows if we go to a web browser and open up our square account there. I want all online orders to be sent to the tablet not a web browser. How do I set this up. Also is there a way to set pick up orders at multiple locations on specific days for events. We are a pop up business so we have normal lunch hours at one locations but then we go to other spots to set up for events so I wanted to have people be able to order pick up online and know which location to go to.

Hey, I am having a hard time with my square register not notifying me when we get an online order. I have the setting set to alert every 5 minutes, and yet we never receive notifications. Our products are made to order and take awhile, so it has caused some upset customers. Can someone help! Thank you!

Have you tried deleting the app and installing it again? It will require you to add those settings from scratch again.

Hey, It is the register (preloaded tablet with the fancy customer facing screen separate), so we don't have the option to delete the app.
