New Category and items not showing up

I have added a new category and a couple of new items today - one of those items is in the new category and the other is in an existing category. Neither the category or either of the items are showing on the site despite all being visible. I have gone to add the new category to the sidebar in the Edit mode, but every time I click the "Add new" button a login pop up appears, and it says my password is incorrect.

I have emailed support and searched the forum for others having this issue and I note it has been a glitch for at least a year. It's very frustrating to be a paid user and see so many unresolved issues.

I'm also having this issue. Worked fine yesterday, went to add some items today. They show up on my POS system, the item library has them marked as visible online and has both channels selected, fulfillment methods are the same as items that work, shipping methods are the same as items that work, but they aren't on my website. Crazy frustrating and I hope we get this resolved soon!

I'm having a similar issue; added items to my website today and none of them are appearing on my Square website. I'm currently on the phone with Support. They are telling me my business address is invalid and that I have to get the matter sorted with USPS, which is absolute nonsense -- this address has been valid for decades. I'm livid. Square is the worst and they're about to cost me thousands of dollars this weekend.

After mucking around with this, here is my not great solution:

-Deleted the original item category. This led to a dead link on my website, which I removed in the editor but still remained on my shop categories for about 15 minutes before disappearing.

- Added the items without categories, so they appear under all items, which seems to work but if you have item variations it seems like it only works if you add them one at a time, saving the item each time and then going back and doing it again. Not ideal at all.

- I went back and created a new item category, then added the items to that category, where they do seem to show up now, but the category does not seem to be something I can add to the navigation on my website.

I am hoping I can figure something better out or this glitch corrects itself because this takes longer than it sounds and is very annoying, but at least it's visible, I guess.

Thanks for reporting back with your findings @NodeArts. After a break, I went back and started listing other items and they did show up in All Items. Then I started from scratch and redid my first two (missing) items, and what do you know... they showed up.

Like you I am still missing the category in the navigation. It's a pain because I can't add a link to the category on my home page to direct customers. They can only access the items through the "All Items" category.
