I connected by Canva custom domain manually, using the instructions provided by Square. Square indicated it successfully connected.
It's been 48 hours and I am still getting the following error.
I went to the Domains section on my Square account to see if there was a status update - but there is no record of the action logged - should there be something listed here? Does this mean it really didn't initiate the connection?

SHARING THE RESOLUTION: I was able to resolve the issue with the help of the awesome online support team (via chat)! There seems to be a difference if you select "connect manually" from the initial connect screen, vs after going through the "connect" path.
Correct sequence: Online --> Website --> Domains --> Connect Domain --> Connect Manually (do not select Connect)

From what I can see, the domain is not connected and you would need to try this process again. I would try doing it automatically following the steps below. If you can't do it automatically, let me know and I can provide the exact steps for connecting manually here in case you are missing anything.
Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Online.
Click Website > Domains.
Click Connect domain.
Type in your domain name under Use a domain I own elsewhere and click Verify.
Select Connect to automatically connect your domain to your site.
Select Continue to sign in to your domain host account and follow the prompts in the modal until you finish. Once complete, the domain connection process will take care of itself automatically within 24 hours. SSL should also be enabled after this time period.

Thanks @Summer2024 , unfortunately Canva doesn't connect automatically, so I went through the process manually. I followed the instructions - copying the A, CNAME and TXT info as provided in the modal. I waited 72 hours, but nada. ☹️
I can't afford to have my site go offline again for 72+ hours, so I republished it on Canva until I can figure this out. Thanks so much in advance for the help.
