Multiple items not showing up online

I've struggled with this for hours.

I have been using Square POS for 2 years and have a set of 20+ items i know well.
Now I am putting them online using the square website.

I have set up locations, online channel visibility, pick up, stock control and all the other criteria for every item, multiple times. But regardless the same 10 items that never change are the only ones that show up on the online store.

I have worked through every step of the online guidance for every item and nothing seems to make a difference.

Where am I going wrong?

I have 2600 items and have experienced multiple issues over the years, lets figure this out, screenshots of the item details for items you can't find on your website will also help narrow this down.

 

Lets start with 1 item you can see in your catalog but not your website

Check locations, ensure if you have more than 1 set up (even an inactive one) and make sure its active in your current one & all future locations is also helpful

make sure they have a category and reporting category

they should have an image

a descripion

and a price (online price can be blank, but price must be filled)

Where it is sold: 

"Site visiblity" is the next setting needs to be visible
Then fulfillment settings

Additionally if you add new items often, I do not reccomend you use the purchase order tool to create items, only use the dashboard catalog tool

Hi John and thank you for your reply.

I have addressed everything you mention and followed the online guide for missing items, but still have issues.

What I have discovered is that I seem to have two locations. One erroneously set up by a previous user. One of them is inactive. How do i properly delete it?

It looks as though the online store will only show something if it is available, with stock, at every location?  if so, that's nonsense. How can I point the online store at only one of my locations, and ignore the other completely?

You'll see from the current state of the store that I have made some progress after discovering this double location problem.
