I'm trying to setup my online store for my food truck - I've found the workaround for the locations - I usually take out my truck 2 to 3 times a week so updating the location information to match isn't so big of a deal. However, I've seen on other Square Online stores that when you first open the site, the first thing that pops up is the location selector. I am unable to do this on my store - the customer only gets the option of picking a date/time once they reach the cart check out.
I suspect it has something to do with the preorder settings but I have no idea how to fix it!

I just checked in with our eCommerce team about this and they said that if you log onto your Square Online Dashboard and proceed to your site editor, you can change the "Home Page" to the "Order Online" page, and this should allow for that location popup to populate.
Here is a screenshot of that section (the highlighted red area is where you will want to change the Page Type):
