Moving item description

This question was posted a few years ago, but the answer no longer works for the version of Square online I have:

 

In my online store, I have items with options and modifiers. I want the description to appear above the options and modifiers but right now the customer has to select before reading description. How can I move the description up or the modifiers down on the page?

Solution

Hey there @layersofloveboo

 

Go to your online dashboard and edit your site.  Then randomly pick any item page.  Click/select the item details section, then scroll all the way to the bottom.   You’ll see a toggle that says “Show the item description above the Buy button.”  This is probably toggled off, and you should toggle it on, then click done.

 

Changes like this made to one item are automatically made to all.  So, just republish your page and then check out your store.  The issue should be fixed, now.
