Re: Missing footer layouts

Hello,

I used to have many different customizable layout options for the footer section, yet today I only see 2 layouts. I pay the top premium subscription yet the only 2 layouts offered to me are left and right alignment. Now my social media icons just sit at right alignment awkwardly while my whole website is center alignment. I saw a similar question asked but as usual there was no answer posted. The best answer voted was to "contact support". I DO NOT want to call into support so I would prefer the best answer posted here.

Hi @dicarlos. I don’t know about many layouts. But I’ve always had the three in the screen shot below. If you don’t have at least those three, then it seems something is messed up in your individual account. This means that the best answer is to call or chat with support. Questions that are about issues with our accounts can not be answered here, for many reasons.

i get that you don’t want to call them. But if you want this investigated and resolved, you need to contact them here.

otherwise, there’s not much this community of sellers can do, in sorry to say.

My buddy uses Square for his bagel shop. He has over 9 different footer layouts. I see you have 3. I'm only offered 2; Right alignment and left alignment options. There is no option to center social media icons or anything else on my footer.

(FYI I'm paying for the top premium paid website subscription)

I’m at a loss, then. I can’t even begin to figure out how there could be nine footer layouts! I’ve never seen more than three in Square Online, ever. Weebly has six, I believe. I’d love to see a screen shot of the nine your buddy has. Maybe that would help track it down. From what I see in the Square Help articles, there are no added footer layouts in Premium. Anyway, I’m going to flag this to the moderators here. Hopefully they know some secret set of footers that I can’t find at all.

So the lower non-premium sites have more customizable options? That makes no sense to me. Thank you for replying to me. I'm talking to support now.

No answer from support as usual. Very surface level and argumentative. I don't know why I even message them as they never solve anything. There isn't a website builder on Earth that doesn't offer center alignment for the footer. The support agent basically told me there is nothing they can do and that's how it is. I mean what kind of support is that? Why is it so hard to get something resolved here. I spent over $1000 for this website and can't even center my social media icons. How frustrating and unprofessional.
