Marked Complete, Online orders

Just recently Iโ€™ve received several voicemails from customers, concerning their online orders in regard to notifications stating their orders have been PICKED UP.

Historically weโ€™ve marked orders COMPLETE so as to remove them from the screen amongst orders still IN PROGRESS. In the past, a customer always received a notification that their order is ready for pickup however, it now appears that they also receive a notification that their order has been PICKED UP when we mark it COMPLETE which may be well before their intended pickup time, prompting concerned voicemails.

This is becoming an issue, at least for us. Does anyone else have an issue with this?

Well @MAXSDELI , I saw an issue that was similar, but I believe it's because I changed my "re-open checks" setting to use the original payment method.   This setting was an issue when setting up the integration to QubicaAMF Conqueror, but the added the needed functionality to allow this setting to be used (which is ideal when accidentally closing a pre-auth).

Well, I was cleared for using it on Wednesday, so Wednesday and part of Thursday I had this setting enabled, only to discover that the staff tips were not showing because the orders had not been marked as "completed".  Well I went to complete them and the "complete" button would not activate, so I shut off the setting.   In doing so, I could then mark the items as complete, however it took 4 or 5 days for most charges to be "authorized".  I thought I was in trouble briefly, but the system seems to have corrected itself.

So, to summarize, I'm not certain this is the same thing, but I'm wondering if you are on any of the betas, such as "tip during payment"?

We also have customers that pick up and as far as the way we use the system:

There is Ready and Complete

Ready means the client can pick Up

Complete means it has been picked up.

You can choose whether to mark the entire order as ready/complete or just partial.

Of course- it gets tricky when our employees forget to mark an order picked up (I don't even want to get into the difference between invoice & order LOL).

Once a month we need to reconcile our pickup closet LOL.
