Local Issues on square

I have been a square customer for many years. Previously, we used it for our farmers markets for point of sale using the square app on my iPhone and processing through the little square device. More recently in the past few years we started to sell our summer weekend pizza event. I got an online website and we did pick up pizzas, but actually they were events where people so I did a lot of configuring so that our evenings would go smoothly. That worked out fine, but we decided to take a less complicated route this year and just sell it as an event. After having the site turned off for the whole winter as usual, I created an event item for our first event And then made the other items unavailable, which were individual pizzas. My customer started to call me right away that they could not get their orders through. When they got through the whole order and entering all their information, they would hit the place order button and nothing would happen and then a banner would come along the top that says we are sorry but the item you ordered is not available please empty your car and try again. I was able to replicate this several times using my own computer. I tried going incognito same thing. I cleared cookies and history same thing. I was able to get one hour to through using just cellular on my iPhone and then the second time I tried it didn’t work and then it did work once again after clearing the cookies on my Safari And history, etc. and then again it stopped working – – – same message. I have already been through the troubleshooting with Square, the re-indexing the everything. I’ve spoken to a manager. They’ve taken it to the engineers who cannot replicate the problem. One customer service rep was able to replicate the problem And then was able to get an order through. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this? Square has deemed it a local issue so I am reaching out to the community for help. If there is no help, I am going to look for an alternate solution with some other company I guess. But I’ve been with square for a long time. I just don’t think that it would be a good idea for me to try to alert my customers that they need to clear their cookies and use an incognito window or try shutting off their Wi-Fi or all of that before placing an order from me . This is definitely going to cause a problem with my customers. My next event is on May 31 so I really need some help ASAP.
