Link bank account Square Loan 2023

Hello 

I have had maybe 6 Square loans. I'm a year into my latest loan. I'm 86% paid back. No new offer. Earlier this week my date stamps on reviewing my account stopped. I thought this was a good sign that I would be getting a new loan offer soon. Instead I got a new option on my loan portal to link my bank account. #1 my bank is never in the list of options to link #2 is this going to affect my eligibility? All of my other factors are green. I process almost 300k in just cc sales per year. Thanks

I have a few loans also and always get an offer around 60-75%. I’m currently at low 80s repaid and still nothing. I also now have the option to connect my bank account. No answer for you just in the same position. Hoping something comes soon.

I came here for just this reason. I was curious if someone had more answers as to what & why our bank accounts has anything to do with receiving an offer. Maybe someone has some insight.

i would'nt do it, in hindsight. i've been offered loans around 70% paid for years. this year was different. saw that link bank message on the loans page, so i figured, "why not" even though my bank is already the one square uses for processing...hmm. so i linked my bank at around 75% paid off. it's a few weeks later and at 85%, and i can say NO, linking an outside acct will not increase the chanes of another offer.

Thanks for the help. I've repaid my loan. I've been waiting three days. No new offer.
