Hi there @EffJayDee,

Welcome to the seller community. If I understand correctly you appeared to have charged someone twice for something ?

The way I would normally fix this is from the transaction list. In the web based dashboard this is under Reports/Transactions.

You should see a list of transactions and once you select the incorrect one you can refund it.

Looks like you can also do the same thing in app.

More details here:

Thankyou for your reply, unfortunately when I looked there the transaction in question is not listed either in my app or on the website, my app lists $64 in transactions for the day and Square paid me $94 minus their 1.9%, I can find no details of the $30 discrepancy and the only possibility is the bungled, canceled transaction. I’m beginning to think the only way I can repay the $30 is when/if the customer approaches me to question the overcharge.

@EffJayDee ,

If you go to the balance section on the dashboard you can list the transfers. If you then select the transfer in question you should be able to see the individual transactions that make up the transfer. Hopefully that can shed some light on the extra $30.

Thanks again, but there is no $30 transaction there, I’ve found Square’s support number and I’ll give them a ring later. Thankyou for your responses. EffJayDee
