Kkeep getting reload error message or something went wrong - Site won't publish

I have made updates to my page and edited some items.  I keep getting an error message saying - "Something went wrong try again".  No matter how many times I try this comes up.

 I click on Publish and it just sites there and doesn't publish.  Seems my last successful Publish was last year!!
