Hi,
Just wondering any work arounds for Items that are re-ordered: how do you display them on your website to get orders and also how do you handle them on the register? I am going into my busy season next week and we take a lot re-orders on items!
Thanks!
Thank you for clarifying!
I checked in with our Account Services team and unfortunately they said that we have limited abilities for this.
They said that items that are stock tracked cannot be sold into the negatives online. You are able to do so for in-person sales though. This will give some indication of the item being out of stock and if you would like to still sell it.
The workaround our Account Services team offered is turning off stock tracking online, but then you would have to manually track your stock/orders outside of Square. Here is a helpful support article going over that process, if you are interested.
I hope this helps a bit! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns in the meantime.
Hi @sacredheart926, thank you for reaching out!
I would be happy to look into this for you, but I may need a bit more information:
Please let me know those few details and we can go from there.
I just know that when I was using Retail Lightspeed I was able to put a special order in and that would in turn put it into a special order tab where I could then see what needed to be order. With that also I was able to put a deposit down for the Special Order.
Thank you for clarifying!
