I have an item that is set to the item type "Event" within its online store settings. It is set to "visible" and I can access it online directly through the url (https://cheesetique.square.site/product/wine-dinner---catena/1958).
However, the item doesn't show up under the categories I selected for it. The item is "Wine Dinner - Catena" and I have it assigned to the categories "Events & Videos" and "New & Exciting Items." It shows up in neither. Please help.

Screenshot below shows main category Holidays with 0 items with inventory shown in their appropriate holiday.
The "Events & Videos" category has 5 items in it and it also has one sub-category ("Items from Recent Classes").
HI, the category named Events & Videos needs to have 0 in it. NO items listed in the category as shown in the screenshot below (Holidays has 0 items).
The products then need to be put in the appropriate sub-category.
Thanks for the quick response. I emptied out the "Events & Videos" category and added subcategories instead. I added the subcategory "Wine Dinners" and added the item "Wine Dinner - Catena" to "Wine Dinners" but it still doesn't show up. The subcategory also doesn't show up, because the system thinks it's empty. I tested this by adding a physical item to the "Wine Dinners" subcategory and it show up correctly. It's just the "Event" item type that won't show up.
Checking in on this again. Any idea why my Events won't show up in the assigned categories? We now have "Wine Dinner - Tastes of Spain" as an event item. It is assigned to the Events & Videos --> Wine Dinners subcategory but it doesn't show up when browsing (neither does the subcategory).
Checking on this again. We still can't display items of type "Event" in our online store. All settings seem to be correct and the item is set to "visible" with a the correct subcategory assigned. But, it doesn't show up. Physical items appear correctly. It's just "event" items that don't.
I'm having the same problem! Created an event and it isn't available in the online store. Please help.

Sorry to hear you are both having trouble with this. I recommend reaching out to the support team directly for this type of issue. We have limited access to accounts through this page, and we would really need to see the settings from the Square and Square Online dashboards in order to assist.
