Item Library not syncing with Online (weebly)

Hi,

I am encountering two issues:

 

1.  item details set up in the Item Library (via the dashboard) are not syncing with the Online website (weebly) - images, descriptions, prices are up to date in the Item Library, but Online has old data & attributes.  New items created in Library are not visible at all on Online.

 

2. items are assigned to categories in Item Library, but do not appear in the relevant Category Page in Online.  This may, in fact, be a consequence of #1 if item attributes are not synced between the two databases.

 

Item Categories created in Library do appear in Online after about 30 seconds, so it appears syncing is working at some basic level.

 

All of these options have been checked multiple times and are correctly set up:

- item type ("Other")

- item Category

- item Visibility

- sales location (square store name)

- inventory is not applicable, these are all admission fees or similar, no ticketing

- Item Sync is turned (Online Dashboard -> Items -> Item Sync)

 

A search of the Community messages returned 7600 results for "Item library not syncing with online store".  Messages cannot be sorted by date, but I have to assume this is a persistent problem over the past years.  Do we just wait for square Ops to get it working again?

 

If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.  In the meantime I will start checking out shopify.

Are you still experiencing these issues as of today? Sometimes it can take a little while for changes you've made to sync over to the live site.

If so, could you please provide a few names of your items that are having this issue? Then, I can take a closer look.

I'll keep an eye out for your reply!
