Issues with uploading images of items

Every time I try to upload an image for a product on my blog website, it keeps saying 'We could not load some of your images. Please try again.' I have tried to upload the image 5-6 times, as well as rotated between .jpg and .png formats. It still does not work. What do i do?

Hi @leenasmindd!

Thanks for reaching out. The error message you mentioned suggests that the issue may be affecting only some images - has that been your experience? Or are you seeing the same error with every image you try to upload?

Here are a few key requirements for Square Online item images to ensure they upload and display correctly:

1. Supported file types: JPG, JPEG, PNG, or GIF.

2. File size: Up to 20MB (we recommend keeping it under 500KB for faster loading).

3. Dimensions: Up to 2560 x 2560 pixels (we suggest at least 2000 x 2000 pixels, with a 1:1 aspect ratio).

Your file type looks fine, so it's possible that image size or dimensions may be the issue. You might try compressing the image using a free online image resizer to see if that helps.

If the issue continues or you’re seeing errors even with smaller images, feel free to send us a few examples so we can take a closer look. 🙂
