We recently imported(update existing items) around 1000 of the items into our platform using excel file. After uploading we notice few problem:
1. Some item description are not showing. On the item edit page, the description is there.
2. Few product are showing in wrong category. When we check them in edit page they belong to write category. And inside category, they are not in them.
I have try toggling on and off description option inside edit site. I also tried re-published my site but no luck.
Could this be a caching issue or indexing issue, or is there anything that needs to be done after bulk import. Any guidance and suggestion would be appreciated.
I wish I had advice. Sorry you are going through this. This confirms my suspicion of excel imports though- we've been doing it all by hand for years... time consuming but at least it's correct.

I know how frustrating it can be when the import feature doesn’t work as expected—it definitely sounds glitchy. I’ll share some troubleshooting steps here to try first. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, I’d be happy to take a closer look and see what we can find to get it fixed. I also sent you an email—when you have a chance, please reply with your Excel file and a few examples of the items missing descriptions or showing incorrect categories. Once I have that, I can dig in further.
