Is there a way to hide variations

I sell pastured pork by weight.  That means that I have to put each weight into square as a variation.  Since the weights are never the same, I have accumulated many variations per item.  Is there a way to hide these instead of deleting them?  It becomes cumbersome for the customer in my online store who has to scroll through 15 variations when I only have 1 weight available.

Hi, could you use Modifiers instead?  Please see my S, M, L clothing set example attached, modifier settings give more flexibility, can add additional cost, make default or hide.
