Is there a way to force items to sort within a Category when you re-arrange them?

When I add a new item, it always puts it at the end/bottom of the list within an Online Category.  I sell ice cream and the items are the flavors so I move the new item to be in alphabetical order.  In the category list, it shows in the proper order where I sort it.  However, it never updates to my website.  I have to call Square support and talk to them.  Then they say hold on for a few minutes.  Then they come back and say they fixed it.  Is there any way to force the sort change when updating the category sorts without having to call and talk to Square?

Hello @DinisIceCream

Yes there is a way to fix this.

Go to the Online section on your dashboard > Online Store.

Go to "Edit Site"

Use the drop down to go to Category Pages > "Shop All".
Click on "Item List".

Click on "Arrange Items".
At the top of the left side, it will say "Arrangement" and have a dropdown. This will be the default arrangement for your website; the customer can change it to something else if they'd like.

You can now change that to alphabetical and not by newest. Once you publish, it should make ALL the pages have the same arrangement.

Hey @DinisIceCream, thanks for reaching out. That does sound frustrating and I’m happy to help.

Site updates can take up to 24 hours to fully process. How long after making the updates are you checking the site? Have you tried unpublishing and republishing to see if that helps?
