Is it possible to add a price increase with modifiers?

I'd like to offer a customizable option to my product, a name label, for an extra fee.  So the base product is offered in S, M, L and XL for one price and then if the modifier is added (personalization), an additional few dollars is added to the price.  Is this possible?

Yes, you can definitely do that. You can add an additional cost to an item for each choice within a modifier. For instructions on that see the help article on item modifiers in Square Online.
