My image library doesn't seem to show all of the images I uploaded to my front-end, such as banner images, image + text, and gallery images. Is there a page on the back-end that I can manage these additional assets all in one place?
Additionally, while image + text and gallery images show the option to add alt text, I do not see the option for banner images. Is there a way I can add alt text for these?
Thank you!
Thanks again for reaching out, @meaningfull!
It sounds like you're undergoing a few edits on your Square Online site lately!
What we expect to happen when clicking on an image section to add or replace an image, is that all images previously uploaded to your Site Editor appear in the 'My images' folder. Does this folder appear for you at all?
Regarding your second question, are you able to confirm what type of banner are you currently using?
I know for the Main Banner, for example, you can toggle on the option to add text on top of the image. This will change depending on the specific section type and if you're not seeing the option appear on the left-hand side, it most likely doesn't exist for that section type.

Hi Laurie,
That folder does appear, but is it meant to not allow users to manage the assets, such as rename/delete?
Yes, the main banner is where I noticed the inability to add alt text. I'm trying to work on SEO so I thought it was strange that wasn't available.
Will consider calling in next time, thank you!
Ahh, I'm with you now, @meaningfull!
That is correct, you won't be able to edit or rename the images from this folder directly. You have the option to name the file when uploading the image for the first time (you would do this from your desktop folder).
Other than that, editing the images within the Site Editor folder would be a feature request at this time.
You certainly raise a good point with there being no option to add alt text to the image used within the Main Banner section. I'll go ahead and pass this directly on to our Product Team for consideration. I can't guarantee an ETA on this change but we'll at least get the ball rolling here.
