I cant re activate my account

I tried to activate my account with my Medicare card but it then said

Square is unable to approve your request

So I looked at some other posts but they all said to go to the trouble shooting page which

just takes me back to the oops page.

Is there anyway to reactivate my account?

Apparently I'm not the only one as there are lots of other threads about this issue.

I have tried to deactivate my account to create a new one but I am unable to because I haven't been allowed to accept payments (activated). Is there any way I can deactivate my account. The whole reason i want to deactivate my account (delete) is becuse i couldn't accept credit card payments!

If you're unable to deactivate your Square Account per these steps, then you will need to reach out to our Support Team for assistance here, @eeaasy.

When you contact our team, please advise if you would like them to release your email from the deactivated account as well.
