How to remove requesting address at checkout?

At checkout, square is asking for customer address when it is unnecessary. All of my items are non-physical and free of charge so there is no reason to be collecting addresses when checking out. It is confusing to my website.

 

The setting to collect addresses is set to off.

 

How can I fix this?

When reviewing your online fulfillment settings, I see that local delivery is enabled, which is why an address is being requested. You can remove the delivery option by going to Dashboard > Account & Settings > Fulfillment Methods > Edit. Let me know if you need any further assistance—I’m happy to help!

Hello MayaP,

 

I'm having the same problem. My customer is being asked for his address for a local event. I have checked all the settings I could find and that were suggested in the community forum. There is a link called "Payment Link" that is out of order at the moment. Maybe the answer is there?

I am having the same issue. I have several event listings (in Japan). When attendees go to pay, they are asked to input their address. I see no way of turning this option off in either the event settings or fulfilment settings as mentioned above. Help.

I am also having this issue. Customers are being asked to enter address for event tickets. I have delivery toggled off in fulfillment settings.
