How to remove my legal name from square terminal receipt?

I dont want customers to see my name.

Hi, @marc13 ! 

Here's how to modify your receipt settings to remove your legal name:

1. Access Receipt Settings:

   • Log into your Square Dashboard
   • Go to Settings > Account & Settings > Payments > Receipts.

1. Modify Business Information:

   • Under the business information section
   • You can replace your legal name with your business name
   • Make sure your business name is properly set up in your account

1. Alternative Business Display:

   • You can use a DBA (Doing Business As) name
   • Or your business's legal entity name
   • This will appear on receipts instead of your personal name

1. Important Note:

   • While you can change what appears on receipts
   • Your legal name will still be associated with your Square account internally
   • This is for legal and tax purposes

1. Double Check:

   • After making changes, process a test transaction
   • Review the receipt to ensure your personal name no longer appears
   • Check both digital and printed receipts
