Hi, I recently upgraded so we can use time-based categories. We're setting up a new menu where Brunch, for instance, will only be available during a certain time of day.
It seems to have worked, but how can I hide or collapse the category when it's not available? For instance, right now it says "Next available Friday 10:30 am" and each item says "Available later" but the Brunch category is at the top and large, so customers will have to scroll past it in the afternoon/evening to order.

Hi @abrokenangel. I did a little research and determined that, at this time, you can’t do anything about this behavior. This seems to be the way that Square Online’s time-based categories were designed. Your only option is to head over to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request to the Square Online team. When you do, please come back here and post a link to it and I will definitely support/upvote that.

Like @TheRealChipA has said, this is showing as intended. Right now, there is no way for time based categories to not appear at all when they are not available. You can always head over to the feature request board and propose your idea!
