How to add Custom Field to the Checkout Page or Make Notes required on the checkout page

Is there any way to add a custom required field to the checkout page or to make Notes on the checkout page required?

After looking for an answer to the same question....it seems like this has been something that users have been asking for over and over again for at least five years now.  It seems crazy that Square can't add this feature, or at minimum a feature to allow the Notes on the checkout page to be Required.  Anyone know who we need to start emailing to make this happen?

I know waiting for a feature to be implemented can be frustrating and sometimes feels like your voice isn’t being heard.
