How do you create a discount for shipping?

I want to offer 50% off shipping using a coupon but I can't figure it out

I can create a coupon but it doesn't give you the option to create for discount on shipping, only FREE SHIPPING.

HI, a coupon code you apply at checkout and a shipping profile, which is automatically applied, are 2 different things.  

You need to create a Shipping Profile to assign how to charge.

Flat Rate - $10.95 all orders

Free Shipping - $0.00 shipping

Based on order weight - need to add weight to every item

Based on order total -

(example:

$0.00 - $14.99 order = shipping $9.95

$15.00 - $19.99 order = shipping $12.95

#20.00 - $24.99 order = shipping $14.95)

Based on number of items - example 0 to 10 items = shipping $9.95

Create a coupon code to assign at checkout so once applied it will reduce the shipping fee.
