How do I remove service charge from online checkout. I don't want to charge my customers a service fee but I cant figure out how to remove that. Does anyone have the steps to do this
Hi @KinzuaAquatics. Just go back to where you set up the service charge in your online dashboard and either remove it or change it to not apply to online orders.
Online Dashboard > Account & Settings > Service Charges. Then select the service charge. You can either delete it with the “Delete service charge” button, or you can scroll to the bottom and toggle off the setting “Apply automatically to Square online orders.”
That's the problem. When I go to that it says I have no services fees set up. But at check out it's charging $3.00

@KinzuaAquaticsSo, I’m definitely seeing what you are seeing. One question because there is a slight bug in the Service Charges screen when I go to it. When I first get to that screen it is completely blank except for the menu to the left. But if I scroll up, all of a sudden there are items in the list. Try scrolling to the top and see if you have the same bug that is causing you not to see a service charge that is actually there.
Otherwise, I’m tagging a few moderators, one of whom should be able to look into this for you. There is definitely a $3 service charge being added. Be sure to try my suggestion and post your result here for them
Yep I see the same thing except in when I scroll up it says learn more and create service charge is all
@KinzuaAquatics Very odd indeed. Hopefully a moderator will chime in shortly. This definitely seems like a bug that will require a trouble ticket, to me at least.

GOOD NEWS! This is not a bug!
In order to remove this service charge, you will need to follow these steps:
1.) Go to your Square Online Dashboard
2.) Scroll down to "Fulfillment"
3.) Click on "Pickup and Delivery"
4.) On the right-hand side of your "WHOLESALE" location, click on the blue "edit" button
5.) This should take you to your delivery settings...scroll down to "Delivery and Service Fees"
6.) You will see "Charge a service fee for delivery orders" is toggled ON.....toggle this off and that service charge will no longer appear

I'm having the same problem except that I don't have delivery as an option. It's adding a service fee to an order that is to be shipped. When I got to Fulfillment > Shipment, there are no service fees listed. There are no service fees under Service Fees either.
