How can I show my item prices at will?

I would like to keep a list of some of our items on our website with prices, but NOT allow customer to order the items online at any time. Really just informational, and as the price is being pulled from the item setup, I wouldn't have to manually change the prices if I set it up a different way.  Specifically, I have butcher & deli items that change based on market price, and must be sold by weight in my state, and the weight of the item is not known until after the order is placed and the item is prepared, not an easy thing to do online.

Anyone have any kind of work around for showing the item prices, but not allowing customer to actually order it ?

In order to make sure i'm understanding, what website builder did you use to create your site (Wix, Weebly, GoDaddy, WooCommerce etc.)? Also, can you provide the URL to your website/page? Thank you!

Hey @Milemarker0. 

We suggest disabling the online orders in Settings. This will gray out the button, however, the messaging might be a little weird. Your visitor will still see the item details page but the add to cart button would be grayed out with a message that can be added such as “our store is not currently accepting online orders”

That won't work I do want to sell some items online and some items I just want to show the price and not have the customer be able to buy them

The online orders page where I can add all my items is where I want to sell my food catering items. But I'd like to put on another page like my deli items cold cuts cheeses etc salads or my butcher items on another page just showing the prices not allowing the customer to actually purchase them I know I can do this with featured items and menus etc etc like to make those items appear on those separate pages but even if I track the item in inventory and make the inventory stock zero it doesn't show out of stock on the page until you click on the item then it shows out of stock kind of defeats the purpose
