The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Shipping and Vouchers.
We offer free shipping over 100 (and have shipping prices applied for everything under 100). However, if someone just $100 of products in their cart then uses a voucher, say for 10% off - their order total now dips to $90 (below 100) dollars but the 100 dollar shipping price (free) still applies, so now they get the products for under under 100 AND free shipping. Is there any way to stop this from happening?
(or do I need to make a voucher for the free shipping so they can only apply one i.e free shipping OR 10% off)
Great question, @HagansDogTreats!
I've tested this scenario, and I'm experiencing the same issue. To address this, you could create a new voucher that applies a 10% discount only when the cart total is at least $110. This way, the discount won't reduce the total below $100, ensuring that free shipping is not incorrectly applied.
Here's how you can set it up:
This approach ensures that customers can either benefit from free shipping or a discount, but not both simultaneously when their cart total is $100.
Hope this helps 😊 Let me know if you have any other questions!
