How can I have an offering only available at certain times?

Hello - I'm trying to make a lunch menu only available on the website from 11a-2p, I've changed the menu I've got connected to the web page to reflect that, but the available hours option there states that this does not affect Square Online. I don't know why that would be the case, but alas, it's where I'm at. Does anyone have any advice to help me navigate this?

Here’s a support article that walks through setting up time-based categories:

 

  1. Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Items & services (or Items & menus or Items & inventory) > Items > Categories.

  2. Select an existing category or create a new one.

  3. Under Availability, select the Only during certain days and times option and use the checkboxes to choose which days of the week these items are available. For each selected day, you can also enter multiple timeframes by clicking + and entering in the hours.

  4. Click Save.
